I am excited to introduce myself and share the journey that led to the creation of MeleWorks, a data consulting firm dedicated to empowering businesses through data-driven decision-making.
My Journey
My name is Senan, and I moved to the US about 16 years ago. Shortly after moving here, I started taking ESL classes as I needed to pass the TOEFL before I could be admitted to college in the US. In Benin, I was studying both Diplomacy and Law, walking in my parents’ footsteps. But moving to the US was an opportunity for me to try something different, so I chose the world of Finance.
Armed with my High School diploma from Benin and about one year of college credits, I initially got admitted to Hostos Community College in the Bronx. About a year later, I transferred to the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College. I got my Bachelors degree in 2012 majoring in Finance and Investments, and immediately started a dual Concentration MBA in Financial Management and Information Technology at the Lubin School of Business at Pace University. Upon obtaining my MBA in 2015, I embarked in a job search and eventually landed a role in Analytics in the Media Industry. Thus started my journey in the Media Industry.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse teams and projects, honing my skills in ETL processes, database design and development, reporting and visualizations, machine learning, and API integration. My professional path has been marked by roles that required both technical expertise and strategic thinking, culminating in my recent position as Manager of Advanced Analytics at a well-known Media Agency in New York.

Founded in 2015, MeleWorks was born out of a vision to bring comprehensive data management solutions to small and medium-sized enterprises. My experiences in various data-centric roles highlighted a common challenge: many businesses struggle to harness the full power of their data. This realization fueled my desire to create a firm that not only addresses these challenges but also empowers businesses to make informed, data-driven decisions.
